How To Steal Khloe's Glamorous Lob

by Sienna Fantozzi

Whatever you might have heard about long hair coming back is probably all wrong, because Khloe Kardashian got a lob (a week after her sister, Kylie Jenner, got a bob), and it's so chic, it's going to make you want to grab the scissors and chop off your own hair. But hold off for a hot minute, because according to Us Weekly, Khloe's hairstylist talked about her new lob, so now you'll have all the insider info you need to replicate the cut.

Khloe's long, mermaid hair always gave me serious hair envy, so I always thought I'd prefer it long — that is, until I saw her amaze new lob this morning. While I love Kylie's blunt bob, as a girl with thick hair, blunt just wouldn't work for me. But Khloe's messy, textured lob is the perfect medium. It's short enough to feel like you've made a drastic change, but it's still long enough to have movement, and doesn't have to be as coiffed as a blunt bob (read: it's less maintenance). Plus, you can add some layers and texture if blunt ends just aren't your thing. This family is giving us so much hair inspiration this week.

She's seriously never looked better.

Luckily, Khloe's hairstylist, Jen Atkin, spilled all the deets on how to get her new lob, so if you're ready to do some chopping, you might want to make sure you follow these steps.

1. Get The Right Length

Lobs aren't as specific as bobs, so they can vary a little more in length, but according to Atkin, hitting "around the collarbone" is the most universally flattering length.

2. Be Specific With Your Stylist

Make sure you bring in photos so your stylist can see exactly what you're looking for. Sometimes we don't articulate what we want as well as we think we do, and they definitely can't read our minds.

3. Know The Difference Between Blunt & Textured

While Kylie's bob is blunt, Khloe's is a bit more textured, which is better if you want movement/messy waves.

4. Prep With Sea Salt Spray

5. Use A Foam For Volume

6. Blow-Dry Your Hair Smooth

7. Add The Wave
