Kanye West Spends How Much On His Hair?!
It's assumed that most celebrity manes come with a pretty high price tag, but one star drops a truly absurd amount of cash on keeping his trim in tip-top shape. Rapper Kanye West's haircut costs him $500 a day to maintain, according to none other than Rihanna's father, reports The Cut.
It's an odd source for such a specific grooming tidbit, but Papa RiRi, aka Ronald Fenty, told British website Heat World that he figured it out during the pair's tour several years back. At $500 a day, that's a ridiculous $182,500 a year. The Cut figures that rounds out to $1,520 per square inch — far more expensive than the Tribeca condo they point out that's listed at $18.52 per square inch.
Not to say that guys shouldn't invest in their grooming rituals, but c'mon, Kanye — this is over-the-top, even for you. I would like to offer my hair cutting services for a fraction of the cost (mostly because I have no cosmetology accreditation whatsoever), if you're interested. There is only, like, a 30 percent chance I will cut you, and a 40 percent chance I'll mess it up, based on my estimates. Decent odds, yeah? Really, what do you have to lose.
No offense, but I just don't think 'Ye has hair that's worth more than a house. However, I'd shell out $182,500 a year for one of these eight celebs' lovely locks.
