Exciting news for 'Girls' Fans

by Anna Klassen

Ahead of the Season 3 premiere on Sunday, Jan. 12th, exciting news has come out of the Winter TCA 'Girls' panel: The series will be renewed for a fourth season. The announcement was made by HBO's EVP Casey Bloys during the panel on Thursday afternoon. While Season 3 has yet to premiere, Season 4 is set to start shooting this summer, to air in 2015. Starring show creator Lena Dunham, Allison Williams, Zosia Mamet and Jemima Kirke, Girls, took home two Golden Globes in 2013, and could possibly snag a few more during Sunday's 2014 ceremony.

Earlier Thursday, the first clip from the upcoming season of Girls was released, featuring Lena Dunham's character, Hannah, throwing a taco party for herself, her three best friends, and her on again off again boyfriend Adam. While Marnie moans about the terrible nature of falling in love, Shoshanna offers her plan to be both a good student, and not miss out on college life: Alternate nights of studying and partying, basically.

And in case you missed it, here's the hilarious trailer for what's to come this season. Including Adam saying, "birdy birds," and Hannah proclaiming: "It's really liberating to say no to shit you hate."
