Ray Could Still Be In Danger On 'Arrow'

I can't pretend to know what it's like to try and save my ex-boyfriend from an evil crime lord. (I hear that's something that most commonly happens in your 30s.) But I can imagine that it's bound to be a rather stressful type of situation, which Felicity more than demonstrated during Wednesday night's Arrow episode "Lost Souls." In fact, it's something that came way too close to breaking Team Olicity up. (Seriously, don't ever do that to me again, writers!) But after a lot of planning and Lorelai Gilmore-level amounts of coffee, Team Arrow was able to save Ray from Damien Darhk's grasp and revert him back to his normal size. But as good as it is to have him back on our screens, that doesn't mean Darhk is finished with him just yet.

You see, it turns out that it wasn't Ray himself that Darhk wanted, but rather his A.T.O.M. suit. And while we still have no idea why he wanted such a contraption, I think we can all assume that it's for very evil and highly dangerous reasons. However, when he took mini-Ray hostage, the suit was also shrunk down to his size and was therefore of no use to Darhk. But now that Ray (and his suit) are back to normal, that could leave our beloved A.T.O.M. hero with a big target on his back.

As the last few moments of the episode indicated, Darhk has already set a plan in motion involving what he learned from Ray's stay. But given how invaluable Ray's scientific genius is, he may decide to pay his former captive a little visit to learn everything he can about micro-sizing. Or even worse… he may decide to pay Felicity a visit, given that it was her invention that Ray had harnessed for the suit. But that's a worry for another day.

In the meantime, though, Ray should still watch his back. He may have gotten rescued, but just like my favorite Taylor Swift song says, that doesn't mean he's out of the woods just yet.
