Jennifer Lawrence Bares Bra, Does Berry Lips at 'Hunger Games' Premiere — PHOTOS
All good things must come to an end eventually! At least this tenure coming to an end in high style. As she wraps up her star-making turn as Katniss Everdeen, actress Jennifer Lawrence bared her bra and rocked berry-stained, bordeaux lips at the New York City premiere of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2, which is the final cinematic installment of the mega bucks franchise.
J. Law has always looked impeccable on the red carpets of the international premieres of all four of the films. She is usually draped in Dior, as a spokesmodel for the brand. However, at the NYC premiere, she wore a sheer, black, and robe-like gown that bared her bra. Shockingly, the gown was not by beloved Dior; it was a Schiaparelli creation, actually.
She paired the frock with berry-stained, bordeaux lips. This was as goth as she gets.
Lawrence wore a simple, white column gown with a screen siren red lip at the L.A. premiere earlier this week. But she went extra autumnal with her super dark and extremely matte lip look in NYC. It's the most dramatic lip she's ever shown and it worked with her white hot, platinum blonde lob.
I'm sorta bummed that we won't have future Hunger Games movies or premieres to look forward to, since J. Law could always be counted on to bring it. And she brought it last night.
Could she get any sexier? It's that fearless lip and that deep side part.
Yes, pairing such a statement lip with a black gown was a tiny bit goth... but the sheer elements of the dress kept it from being a sombre presentation.
Bra bared, don't care! It was a sexy touch. The layers of necklaces were an excellent way to accessorize the open top of the dress.
Lawrence didn't reveal too much with this gown. But she was ultra glam.
The Oscar winner ripped a page out of Lorde's book with her NYC look and it was fantastic on pretty much every level.
So serious but so stunning!
Once again, I am offering a suggestion for you to rock the same berry-stained lip as Lawrence. Again, I suggest keeping lips in shape by exfoliating them with a toothbrush so they are flake-free. Then add balm. Then add lip liner. Then add lipstick. Then go forth and turn heads.
Urban Decay Matte Revolution Lipstick in Blackmail is a great choice. The formula is creamy. ($22, urbandecay.com)
NARS lipstick in Scarlet Empress has quite the wine tone. ($27, sephora.com)
Berry lips are intense and theatrical. But they also indicate a level of confidence. Try them!
