See Kylie's Latest Monochromatic Ensemble

by Amy Sciarretto

After donning back-to-back statement outfits in all black with her controversial Interview cover and her leather-and-chains AMAs ensemble, she's switching gears! Kylie Jenner's all-white sweatsuit is the epitome of athleisure. Even though it's monochromatic and she is wearing white after Labor Day, the ensemble is anything but boring. Jenner brought it with her street style.

The reality starlet recently took some heat for her black latex-clad, dominatrix-themed Interview covers, one of which featured her seated in a wheelchair and ultimately angered handicapped people and beyond. She also turned heads with her very grown up red carpet look at the music awards show, since she offered up her take on biker chic.

But Jenner reminded all of us that she's still an 18-year-old kid at heart when she ditched the all-black, super sexy outfits in favor of an extremely plain white sweatsuit with sneakers. It was an unexpectedly "quiet" outfit her, since she has been so splashy and revelatory with her clothes as of late.

Jenner has become one of the most watched women in the world, thanks to her busy, fashionable selfie-flooded Instagram feed. But she can still put the glamour on the back burner and relax in a comfy outfit. In that respect, she reminds me of Rihanna, who has no problem ditching heels in favor of fluffy slippers.

You know, Jenner has had quite a busy week, with the criticism of her Interview cover and her Internet-breaking Kylie Lip Kits landing on Cyber Monday. It's totally awesome that she's chilling out in simple style. She added glam with her taupe nails and her gold bracelets. While she'll likely go back to black and to edgy looks, like, tomorrow, it was fun to see her so dressed down.

Jenner's monochromatic athleisure ensemb is so easy to recreate with three pieces.

The faux sherpa texture of this zip up hoodie is anything but basic! ($21, target.com)

These faux sherpa joggers are super soft and sweet. ($15, target.com)

Add monochromatic Converse kicks, which are never-go-outta-style classics, and you've got your snow-hued ensemble. ($55, converse.com)

Just be careful when you do things like apply lip gloss or lipstick or drink something from Starbucks. If you stain this outfit, it's pretty much ruined. Unless, of course, you feel like a lipstick smudge or a tea spill gives the outfit artful character. That wouldn't be the strangest thing in the world.
