The VS Angels Ate Wings In Wings With Colbert

by Kali Borovic

They might known for eating super heathy, but Stephen Colbert proved that these models like to eat just like the rest of us. Victoria Secret Angels ate buffalo wings on The Late Show to promote their fashion show, which airs on December 8th, and it's the best thing you'll see all day. I can't think of a better way to prepare to watch yourself walk down the runway in awesome lingerie.

Adriana Lima, Behati Prinsloo, and Taylor Hill appeared on Colbert's to drum up interest in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show (as if they needed to encourage people to tune in!) and provide a little bit of inside knowledge on what life as a VS Angel is like. The three models strutted out in their wings, but probably didn't expect to be eating wings as well, which Colbert described as being "harvested from Angels who didn't make the cut."

The whole video is pretty hilarious, especially considering the stereotypes about models' diets and people's fascination with seeing models eat, well, actual food (there's even a tumblr called Models Do Eat). Hill even stopped mid bite to ask if the wings were organic. But the best part was when Colbert and the other ladies used Prinsloo's Angel wings as a paper towel. Fashion meets function!

Not only did they show off how to stylishly dive into a bowl of wings, they even gave away Victoria's secret once and for all: "Okay, her real secret is, she's not allergic to gluten, she just likes to be very difficult at restaurants," Lima told Colbert.

I knew it! Sure, this might be a joke, but it's nice to see the big winged ladies poke a little fun at themselves from time to time while sharing a surely delicious meal.

You might think you know everything that there is to know about being an Angel, but, as Colbert proves, there's a lot we don't understand about these ladies. Not only do they love to chow down on buffalo wings (who doesn't?), but apparently the Victoria's Secret models have plenty of hidden talents.

1. Ming Xi

According to Esquire, Ming Xi's hidden talent is that she can sleep all through the day and night for about 18 hours. That sounds like a total dream to me.

2. Karlie Kloss

It's not much of a secret anymore, but Kloss loves to code. She even recently partnered up with Code.Org to encourage girls to following their coding passion.

3. Behati Prinsloo

Cosmopolitan found out that Prinsloo is really good at moving her pinky toe by itself, which she promises is actually really hard. Try for yourself and see!

4. Lais Rabeiro

Rabeiro hasn't discovered her secret talent yet, according to H&M, but she does love to explore New York City with her son. I would definitely consider navigating the city with a toddler in tow a hidden talent.

5. Jac Jagaciak

Esquire also found out that Jagaciak used to do high jump, so she can still get pretty high up there — no wings required.

6. Heidi Klum

This longtime VS model may have retired her Angel wings awhile ago, but her hidden talent proves why she's one of the greats. She told YourTango that she can walk with a raw egg taped to her heel, which she says helped her learn how to walk on the balls of her feet for modeling.

7. Cara Delevingne

This one's pretty impressive, if you ask me. On a British late night show, Delevingne proved she could beat-box, making her even more lovable than she already is.
