'Bachelor' Contestants Love A Gorgeous Wedding

by Marenah Dobin

Sadly, The Bachelor has more misses than hits when it comes to pairing up long lasting couples. Nevertheless, even though many contestants were clearly on the show for fame and to promote themselves, a lot really were on the quest for love. Even though not everyone find loves on the show — and many of those who do end up breaking up — a ton of former cast members have ended up living happily ever after as the many Bachelor and Bachelorette family weddings over the years prove.

Some of the contestants ended up marrying with (and staying with) the winner of their show — although it is pretty rare. Nevertheless, a lot of them did find happiness in other ways outside of receiving the final rose. Some mixed it up and ended up settling down with contestants from other seasons of The Bachelor, while others got married to normal non-reality TV folk.

And as you might expect from people who have no qualms with televised dating, their weddings have been made pretty public over the years, with some couples even getting their own wedding specials on TV. On top of that, a lot of Bachelor alums have had their wedding photos featured in magazine spreads. And, of course, when all else fails, pretty much every one of these photos has made its way onto social media at some point. Take a look.

Trista & Ryan Sutter

These two are definitely the best couple to come out of the entire franchise. Trista and Ryan are the original Bachelorette couple, they have two kids, and are still together. Everything about these two is perfect and their wedding photos are no exception.

Lacy Faddoul & Marcus Grodd

After some trouble finding love on the Bachelor and Bachelorette, these two former contestants hit it off on the first season of Bachelor in Paradise and even got married on the second season of the show which aired in August 2015. It was a perfect intimate ceremony on the beach — well, intimate minus the camera crew and other Bachelor in Paradise contestants. Whether the marriage is actually legit is questionable, but there wasa wedding, so the wedding photo above still counts.

Catherine Giudici & Sean Lowe

Everything about this photo was just magical from the look in their eyes to the white rose petals everywhere. Catherine and Sean definitely had a fairy tale wedding.

Jason & Molly Mesnick

Molly might have been the runner-up when Jason was the Bachelor, but he soon realized that she was the one and the two have been happily married ever since. Nothing was going to stop them from having a perfect wedding, even some strong rain. And in all honesty, the pictures are a lot more romantic with the drama of the bad weather.

Ashley Hebert & J.P. Rosenbaum

Ashley and J.P. showed off their marital status by holding up these cute signs on their wedding day with the biggest smiles on their faces.

Desiree Hartsock & Chris Siegfried

Desiree and Chris were nothing but smiles during their wedding day. She looked gorgeous and he was definitely happy to stand by her side.

DeAnna Pappas & Stephen Stagliano

DeAnna remembered her wedding anniversary with this adorable Pic Stitch dedicated to her husband. It's nice to see that she was able to find love after her time on the show didn't quite work out in her favor.

Emily Maynard & Tyler Johnson

Emily Maynard and her husband Tyler Johnson were excited to be husband and wife and unite as a family with Ricki, Emily's daughter from a previous relationship. They looked like such a happy trio on the big day!

Melissa Rycroft & Tye Strickland

Melissa Rycroft and her husband Tye Strickland recently celebrated their 6-year wedding anniversary. Melissa reminded us all about it by posting this romantic beach photo from their wedding day. How sweet!

Whether they found love on or off the show, there have been plenty of contestants from The Bachelor and Bachelorette who have found their happily ever after with some beautiful weddings.
