David Coussins Has The Odds Against Him On 'PLL'

We are so close to the winter premiere of Pretty Little Liars that you can almost smell the coffee from The Brew. The series returns on Jan. 12, but while we'll still be following the turbulent lives of Spencer, Emily, Aria and Hanna, their lives will look very different in Season 6B. No longer are these ladies students at Rosewood High: they are all grown up, and leading exciting new lives. They are also no longer tied to their high school love interests, no matter how endgame those couples seemed. Unfortunately, that means when Pretty Little Liars returns, Hanna is engaged to Jordan, a new character who is breaking Haleb fans' hearts by merely existing — and now, we know just whose face will be responsible for all of the heartache. David Coussins will play Jordan on Pretty Little Liars, as reported by TVLine, and he'll have to work extremely hard to win fans over.

Coussins is an Australian actor and relative newcomer to Hollywood. Most of his work has been in film shorts, though he also boasts a few guest roles on Australian television series like Winners & Losers and Woodley. The role of Hanna's fiance will be his first major appearance on an American television show, and despite being the wedge between Hanna and Caleb, Coussins may become your latest imported crush. Why? He's not Caleb, but I think we can all agree that Jordan isn't so bad. Of course, that will be his biggest problem for fans to overcome — he's simply not Caleb. And when Caleb's around, it's very hard for 'shippers to be convinced that he and Hanna should not be together.

Personally, the only time that I believed anyone else could be right for Hanna was when I thought that Caleb was saying goodbye forever to go live in the haunted Ravenswood. But now that Caleb's definitely back in Rosewood, it seems completely tragic for this couple not to be together. Coussins has some very big shoes to fill as Hanna's new love interest, and this newcomer seems ready for the job. Hopefully Pretty Little Liars fans will give him a chance to impress them the way he did Hanna.
