Zendaya Stunned At The 2016 Golden Globes

by Eliza Florendo

My style wig is constantly snatched thanks to Zendaya, who seems to slay every red carpet, press event, and paparazzi pic. And Zendaya at the 2016 Golden Globes should sing, "Oops I Did It Again" because trust and believe, she did, when she showed up to the award show rocking a layered dark red Marchesa gown with a deep V. And as if that wasn't enough, her eyebrows were of course, completely on fleek.

Prior to arriving to the Golden Globes, Zendaya took a quick pick on her Snapchat, giving us a preview of her red dress, bold earrings, and slicked back hair. This, of course, ignited some serious excitement from her fans. Who could resist those bold brows, purple smokey eye, and full lips? Not us.

Zendaya has long been on my radar for best dressed celebs, which started when I saw her flawless look at the BET Awards, totally killing a sparkly shirt dress, sky high platforms, and short bob. So simple and so chic. Since then, she's totally stunned in matching separates, distressed denim, culottes, and even a Vivienne Westwood power suit. You name it, and she can pull it off. She's definitely not afraid to take risks, and I can totally get down with that.

And tonight, she's done the seemingly impossible: She topped herself. I was convinced that after her all-pink lace mini at the American Music Awards, I had found my favorite look of hers. But nope, she proved me wrong, in her Marchesa gown and black clutch. Close up, the gorgeous dress had a floral texture that added the perfect detail to top it all off. For a first timer at the Golden Globes, she totally nailed it.

One of the reasons Zendaya always slays her look is her overall sense of confidence that says. She has a sense of understated sexiness — one that's simply effortless. It doesn't hurt that she's hilarious, either. If you haven't looked through her Instagram captions, do yourself a favor and do so now. At the 2016 Golden Globes, she's won my style heart again, and I predict she'll continue to do so.
