Here's ‘Mean Girls’ Recreated With Cats — Come On, You Know You Wanna Watch

I have just what you're looking for to get your weekend started off right! No, it's not an glass of pinot grigio — it's Mean Girls recreated with cats! The Pet Collective, who have previously brought us fantastic videos like Home Alone with pug puppies and The Lion King with kittens, are at it again and this time they've mixed things up a little with their Mean Cats video. Instead of a little kid performing voice over narration of the story, each Mean Girls cat gets it's own voice. That way they can recite all those quotable lines from the movie, just the cat-ified versions. For example, Glen Coco becomes Glen Calico. Stuff like that. Also, instead of the animals just sitting there being themselves as they did in the other movies, in Mean Cats, their heads peep out through holes in cardboard on which the characters' bodies are drawn. I mean, how would we know which one is reprising Lindsay Lohan's role if we couldn't see her red hair?

If you haven't seen Mean Girls — and you have, right?! — the video might be a little hard to follow. Mean Girls is a complicated movie of great depth. It can take up to four viewings to truly understand it's meaning. Seriously though, this cat video isn't really concerned with the plot, it just wants to fit in as many cat puns and famous Mean Girls quotes as possible and it achieves just that.
