Who Are The Former "Real Househusbands" With Now?

by Marenah Dobin

The reality TV franchise is called Real Housewives, but that isn't always an accurate description of the ladies who star on the shows. A lot of the women who allow their lives to be filmed are no longer with the husbands they started the show with. So what are those dudes up to now? Many of these men faded away from reality TV once their romantic relationships demised, so it's not quite as easy to keep up with them now that they are not in front of the reality TV cameras. Thankfully, social media and other modern technology allow the fans to keep tab on these former Real Housewives husbands.

Watching Real Housewives, viewers feel like they are really getting to know the cast members and become invested in their lives, including their romantic relationships. So it's pretty weird to watch these longtime loves end and see each party move on, but it does happen and it seems like everyone is better off — for the most part anyway.

I'm starting to wish that there was a spin-off show for Real Husbands cast-offs so fans could see how these new relationships are panning out for the former Real Housewives stars.

Eddie Cibrian was never on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but he might as well have been. Eddie and his wife LeAnn Rimes were name checked plenty of times by Brandi Glanville. And we all know why: Eddie left Brandi and hooked up with LeAnn. I don't blame Brandi for being bitter, but it looks like LeAnn is here to stay.

Kelsey Grammer & Kayte Walsh

I am really not a fan of this couple. Watching Kelsey Grammer leave Camille for Kayte Walsh on the first season of RHOBH was absolutely heart breaking. And watching them attend the Tony Awards together and pretend everything was OK even as their marriage was crumbling was painful. It's pretty hard for Camille fans to support Kelsey in his new relationship, but hopefully this one works out.

Ed Hartwell & Keisha Knight-Pulliam

Lisa Wu was on only on Real Housewives of Atlanta for two seasons, but most fans probably remember her super hot football player ex-husband Ed Hartwell. And most people actually know his new wife. Ed Hartwell married Keisha Knight-Pulliam (yep, from The Cosby Show) in January 2016. Based on Instagram posts, these two seem to be pretty happy and in love. Congrats to them!

Mario Singer & Kasey Dexter

Ramona Singer is my girl (not that I actually know her...) so it was pretty tough hearing about the New York Housewife and husband Mario Singer splitting up.These days, Mario is with and Kasey Dexter and they have attended events and posed for photos together.

Mohamed Hadid & Shiva Safai

Yolanda Foster and Mohamed Hadid are the most civil exes I've ever seen. Beyond that, they actually hang out in social settings that do not include their children. They've even hung out while Yolanda and her most recent ex David Foster were still together and Mohamed was with fiancée Shiva Safai. Shiva has been featured on RHOBH shopping with Lisa Vanderpump. Maybe she should be the next Housewife?

Simon Barney & Catushia Ienni

Simon Barney has not been on RHOC since he and Tamra Judge broke up on camera, but his presence still lives on. On the show and in the press, Tamra has had words to say about her ex and his current girlfriend Catushia Ienni, who is 20 years younger than Simon. I wish this situation was on the show more. I imagine it is way better than the pot stirring that Tamra resorts to for a story line.

It's weird seeing these guys who we "know" as being someone's husband become their ex-husband, and it's even more strange to see that they've all moved on to serious relationships. Like it or not, they will always be a part of the Real Housewives legacy, and no matter where they go or who they're with, they'll never be able to escape that.
