Lady Gaga's Makeup Artist Kills It Yet Again

by Kali Borovic

Getting the game off to a sparkly start, Lady Gaga sang the National Anthem beautifully at Super Bowl 50. There's was no doubt that she would vocally slay, but her on point makeup was a fabulous surprise. Gaga is known for her bold beauty statements, and her Super Bowl makeup was the perfect mix of quirky and patriotic. If you're wondering who did Lady Gaga's makeup for the Super Bowl, you might not be surprised to hear it was a familiar face.

Gaga took the stage to start off the Super Bowl festivities rocking a sparkly red pantsuit, bright blue manicure, and enough glitter on her eyes to be seen a football field away. She was red, white, and blue from head to toe and makeup tied the entire look together perfectly. The mastermind behind the gorgeous look was Lady Gaga's go-to makeup artist Sarah Nicole Tanno. Somehow she managed to make bright red sparkles look completely high fashion and match the exact hue and shine to Gaga's pantsuit.

With a natural lip and fierce brows, Gaga showed the world exactly how to pull off a bright red eye. The statement makeup was the perfect way to start off the big game.

Tanno isn't only the creator of this stand-out look, either. She has been Gaga's personal day to day makeup artist since September 2014. Not only is Tanno the artist behind most of the singer's red carpet looks, but she also did her makeup for American Horror Story: Hotel .

It's clear to see that Tanno is just as skilled with makeup as Gaga is with her singing. With no eyeliner at all, she manages to pull off a cateye illusion and pack on just enough sparkle for a bold look that doesn't overpower. Just look at those thick, starlike lashes!

I don't know what shines bright; her jewelry, eyeshadow, or talent. Tanno couldn't have created a more perfect look!
