Jared Padalecki Is Ready To Return To Stars Hollow

by Amy Mackelden

Gilmore Girls gossip is on fire right now, and the cast seem to be just as excited as we are. Following the news that Jared Padalecki will reprise his role as Dean on the Netflix revival of Gilmore Girls, the actor has shared the cutest throwback picture to remind us all of just how cute he used to be. I mean, he's still cute, but you'll see what I mean. It's super exciting that the actors involved in the show are elated that Gilmore Girls will return for four new episodes, and they all can't wait to get started.

Padalecki has a huge following on Twitter now, mainly because of his smash-hit role on Supernatural, and the fact he's a total fox. Not only does this make his tweet on Thursday all the cuter, it serves as a reminder of how long ago Gilmore Girls actually was. Now, I don't want to make you feel old or anything, but checking out old cast photos is a great way to remember what it was like to feel young. From the clothes to the hairstyles to the fresh faces, reminiscing about the original run of Gilmore Girls has only made me more excited for the revival. And it looks as though Jared Padalecki is totally on board with the excitement too.

The actor that plays Dean, Rory's boyfriend in the early seasons of Gilmore Girls , shared a retro photo of his character, wearing a grey turtleneck (so chic!), and a leather jacket. Even though the show first aired in 2000, there's something so '90s about Padalecki's look in this photo. His floppy hair, and chill expression, take me back to a simpler time, and give me all the Rory and Dean feels. Sure, their relationship was far from perfect, but it's interesting to know that Dean will definitely be back, and that Padalecki is more than ready for the challenge.

The Internet is sure to be filled with more retro throwback photos, and clues about the new episodes, in the coming weeks. The world is more than ready for the Gilmore Girls revival, and thank goodness Dean is on board.
