A 'Life Of Pablo' Tour Could Happen Soon

by Sabienna Bowman

After months of anticipation, Kanye West finally got around to releasing The Life of Pablo after his Saturday Night Live performance on Feb. 13. Fans of the rapper can stream or download the album from TIDAL, but now that the album is officially available, it is time to move on to the next question: Will Kanye tour for The Life of Pablo?

West spends so much time in the public eye that it feels like he is on a constant world tour, but in actuality, he tends to space out his official tours. He last did an album tour in 2013 for Yeezus , and it was his first solo tour in five years. That's not to say West hasn't been busy since then. He spent much of 2015 performing at various music festivals including the Summer Ends Festival, the iHeartRadio Music Festival, and the RBC Royal Bank Bluesfest, just to name a few venues. With that in mind, there is an excellent chance West will go on tour for The Life of Pablo, an album he seems especially proud of given the massive roll out it received alongside the third season of his Yeezy clothing line.

As of right now, the only concert West has scheduled is The Governors Ball Music Festival 2016 in June. That doesn't mean he isn't gearing up for a major announcement, though. The star has been full of surprises lately — just look at all the secrecy that surrounded The Life of Pablo. Not only did the album go through multiple title changes, it had an extremely unusual multi-tiered release, and West added an extra seven tracks before the final debut. If West is planning on hitting the road for The Life of Pablo, expect an elaborate announcement with more subterfuge than the last James Bond movie to precede any official news.

While you wait for West to say yay or nay to an upcoming tour, check out the album on TIDAL. And if you are truly desperate to see West perform, tickets for The Governors Ball Music Festival are still on sale (although, they're not cheap, guys).
