You Might Not Know It, But These Celebs Are BFFs

It's not news that many celebrities are good friends. For example, pretty much everyone in the world knows that Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran are thick as thieves. Actually, T. Swift is friends with a lot of people. Anyways, there are just some celebrity friendships fans just can't get enough, like Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. Then, there are some that people have no idea about. So, in order to educate you and keep you on the up and up, let's talk about the celebs you never realized were BFFs.

If you pride yourself on knowing all there is to know about the entertainment world, then you may be thinking, "I already know which celebs are friends." That's what you may think, but some of the following celebrity friendships just might surprise you. These ones don't make headlines all the time (unlike Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Schumer). And it's not that they're unknown, because most of the famous faces below aren't shy about sharing their friendships on social media. They just aren't as apparent or as popular as other Hollywood friendships. Trust me, they are just as worthy as everyone who is part of Swift's squad.

So, with that, let's talk about these celebrity besties that may shock you along the way.

1. Busy Phillips & Michelle Williams

Not only did these two star on Dawson's Creek together, but they are real-life besties. From time to time, Busy Philipps and Michelle Williams will show up to award shows together and even vacation together. They are so close there were rumors that the two were more than friends. Philipps (who has been married to Marc Silverstein since 2007), told the Advocate in 2013, "My friendship with Michelle has stood the test of time, and we’ve been together through many different versions of our lives. I love her as deeply as I love almost anyone. But we don’t do it."

2. Jennifer Lopez & Leah Remini

Jennifer Lopez and Leah Remini have been friends for years. They are extremely tight, so much so that Lopez supported Remini after she left the Church of Scientology. As Remini told People, "She told me to keep the good things and move on with love. She doesn't judge." The former King of Queens actor was worried she'd have to stop being friends with Lopez because the singer's father is a Scientologist. However, as Remini reveals in her book, Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology, J. Lo proved just how great of a friend she is by saying to Remini: "I don't ever want to talk about this bullsh*t again."

3. Jenna Dewan-Tatum & Emmanuelle Chriqui

When she isn't hanging out with her husband, Channing Tatum, Jenna Dewan-Tatum and Emmanuelle Chriqui are being the best of friends. They both love gushing about one another on Instagram. Chriqui, who starred in Entourage and On the Line (with Lance Bass), wished Dewan-Tatum a happy birthday with these adorable words: "@jennaldewan you make the world a brighter place with your infectious laugh and your sweet sweet heart. I love you to the moon and back, always have and always will."

The same goes for the Step Up actor who wrote this for Chriqui's birthday: "You literally make this world a brighter place with that shiny light of yours!! This next year is yours I can feel it. I'm so grateful for you and walking this life together... so many memories already and we're just getting started." They also love referring to each other as "soul sisters." Yeah, they're definitely BFFs.

4. Lance Bass & Jamie-Lynn Sigler

As you can tell from the IG above, Lance Bass and Jamie-Lynn Sigler are the best of friends. I mean, she even officiated his wedding to Michael Turchin alongside their other good friend JoAnna Garcia-Swisher. Before his wedding, Bass revealed on his radio show the reason why they chose Garcia-Swisher and Sigler to marry them. He said, "We've asked out two best girlfriends to officiate this wedding because I cannot think of two better people to give us away. These two know us the best. Jamie has been part of my life for so many years, she knows where all the bodies are buried."

5. Jennifer Aniston & Selena Gomez

Did you ever expect for Jennifer Aniston and Selena Gomez to be tight? Yeah, me either. Anyways, as expected, the former Friends star is great at giving advice, which Gomez gladly accepts. I mean, they even do it over while making pizzas at Aniston's house. "Honestly, she’s amazing," the singer told KTU's Cubby and Carolina. "We met through my management. They manage her as well, so it was kind of like a friendly meeting and instantly she's, like, inviting me to her house." Gomez added, "She's very cool and very sweet. She kind of gives me a lot of, like, maternal advice."

6. Emily Bett Rickards & Colton Haynes

These two don't just have being actors on Arrow in common. Emily Bett Rickards and Colton Haynes are also best friends. Actually, they post a lot about each other Instagram and it's beyond adorable. Some have even mistake them for boyfriend and girlfriend all the time, but it seems like they are just BFFs. Whatever the case, they can't get rid of each other, love vacationing together, and want the world to know how close they really are.

For example, here's how Haynes celebrated Rickards' birthday on Instagram: "Happy Birthday my partner in crime @emilybett. Cheers to many more adventures. It's rare when someone comes in to ur life that just gets you and adds endless joy. To many more trips around the world, therapy hikes, life changing encounters, "London":), & to seeing every cat there is in existence together :)."

7. Eva Longoria & Mario Lopez

At first glance, many might think these two are a couple. Obviously, they aren't, because Mario Lopez is married to Courtney Mazza, whereas Eva Longoria is engaged to Jose Antonio Baston. That said, they are super close. After all, Longoria is godmother to Lopez's daughter Gia. As Lopez once told People about the dating rumors that once swirled around them, "We never dated. Unfortunately. We met a long time ago, and she was always with somebody or I was with somebody. But we hit it off and I have the utmost respect for her."

The former Desperate Housewives actor even refers to Lopez as her "brother." After being asked if it's hard to maintain male friendships while dating, she told Cosmopolitan, "I get so much crap for having friends like Jamie Foxx and Mario Lopez, who are like brothers to me. It's difficult when you're in an insecure relationship or if your partner doesn't know where he stands with you."

8. Keegan Allen & Brett Dier

I'm sure all of my fellow Pretty Little Liars fans already know this, but PLL star Keegan Allen and Jane the Virgin 's Brett Dier are best friends. For anyone who has Snapchat (and follows Allen), then you know these two are inseparable and hang out all the time. They are two of the goofiest guys I've ever seen and it's wonderful. So, if you've yet to add Allen on Snapchat (username: lifelovebeautyb), do it right now to enjoy his friendship with Dier.

9. Nina Dobrev & Julianne Hough

When it comes to being BFFs, these two know what's up. As Nina Dobrev told Cosmopolitan about her friendship with Julianne Hough, "It's been cool to find an active buddy — there are lots of girlie girls around. We don't talk about makeup; we talk about life." They aren't afraid to share their friendship on social media, either. If you quickly scroll through either of their IG's, you'll notice they do pretty much everything together, like that time they embraced their inner Pink Ladies from Grease .

10. Angela Kinsey & Jenna Fischer

This might not be shocking to some, but despite their characters not really getting along on The Office, Angela Kinsey and Jenna Fischer are real-life besties. They've experienced a lot together, including the ending of their beloved NBC comedy and the births of their children. Kinsey told People, "Jenna was with me in the hospital when I had my baby." She added about Fischer becoming a mom, "Jenna’s going to be a great mom. I, of course, want her to get pregnant yesterday because — come on — Isabel, my BFF … we need to have BFF babies!"

11. Jussie Smollett & Gabourey Sidibe

Finally, there are these fantastic Empire stars who are the greatest of friends. Jussie Smollett and Gabourey Sidibe are so close, they even live together. They are hilarious together (if you've never seen them in an interview, YouTube it, stat) and they even share the funniest pictures and videos of one another on social media. For example, one time Sidibe made Smollett clean the floors. Speaking of, Smollett spoke about just that with The Root. He said, "We are just really, really good friends and she’s just so damn funny that we are just stupid and our videos have become somewhat legendary, but it’s just us being stupid." Here's hoping they keep it up, because it's beyond enjoyable.
