Drake's Lyrics In "Work" Are Just Too Sexy

by Michelle Lulic

Your two favorite pop stars are taking over the music industry once again with their latest collaboration, Rihanna and Drake's "Work." Between their music video chemistry and their performance at the Brit Awards, Rihanna and Drake 'shippers are going crazy. However, it's more than just these two together that is gaining all of the attention; it's Drake himself. Aside from making fans super jealous of Rihanna in the two-part music video, Drake is also dropping some ridiculously sexy lyrics in the song as well. And, now, it's time for me to give you a full analysis of exactly how sexy Drake's lines are — in the form of a complete ranking.

That's right. I'm going to break down exactly what Drake is saying to Rihanna in the song "Work," and let the jealousy you may be feeling for their relationship just get even stronger. Because, basically, Drake is begging for some alone time with the Anti singer. And, honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if all of the things he's saying in the song were at one point in direct correlation to the way he felt (or currently feels?) about Rihanna. After all, their relationship hasn't always been very clear.

But, either way, there's no denying his "Work" lyrical sexiness. Here are the lines you certainly won't just let go by the next time you listen to the song, ranked.

10. "I Spilled All My Emotions Tonight, I'm Sorry."

Who knew that vulnerability could sound so good? Usually, when you think about the lyrics in a verse, you don't imagine them to be so raw and emotional. However, this is some serious Drake-styled pillow talk we're hearing, and that definitely makes it swoon-worthy.

9. "I Don't Want To Rush Into It, If It's Too Soon."

What a gentlemen, right? Sometimes, it just takes a real class-act of a man to put you in the mood. In his verse, he's putting it all on the table, and that's so attractive.

8. "Long Distance, I Need You."

This line perfectly describes that feeling you have in a relationship when video chat is just not enough. The long distance thing isn't working for Drake anymore, and he's being honest about it.

7. "Rollin'. How Many More Shots Until You're Rollin'?"

Drake's being pretty straightforward with these lines. He's looking for things to get down and dirty real soon. So, if you're into this kind of directness, keep the shots coming.

6. "When I See Potential, I Just Gotta See It Through."

Drake is not backing down from love. He knows that he's got the right girl in front of him, and he's going to do everything to give it a fair shot. And, assuming he's talking about Rihanna, she is one lucky lady.

5. "If You Had A Twin, I Would Still Choose You."

Greatest pick-up line of 2016, anyone?

4. "You Need To Get Done At Work, Come Over."

Is anybody else hearing this line and immediately getting up from their desk and running for the door? If Drake said that to me, I'm pretty sure I would just straight up leave work then and there.

3. "You Spent Some Time Away. Now You Need To Forward."

Drake is looking to make up for some lost time. And I think it's pretty obvious as to what he needs after all of that time away.

2. "We Just Need A Face To Face. You Could Pick The Time And The Place."

Oh, yeah. I think I know what's going down when those two get together. Somehow, Drake even makes setting up plans sound good.

1. "We Just Need To Slow The Motion."

If any of Drake's lines in the song "Work" would be deemed sexy, it's this one. In this line, he could mean the overall span of their relationship. But, if you're like me, your mind just completely went in the gutter with this one.

Now try listening to the song "Work" without thinking about how perfect Drake is. Yeah, it's not a very easy feat.
