Rob Kardashian & Blac Chyna Are Now "ChyRo"

If you're behind in the news regarding the relationship of Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna, there are two things you need to know. First, they are still very much a couple despite breakup rumors, as the former Keeping Up With the Kardashians star announced on his Instagram Sunday. Second, Kardashian and Chyna's couple name is "ChyRo," per the 28-year-old's IG. Now, there might not be much to their shipper name other than the fact that it's a combination of their names, which is how most couple names go (i.e. Bennifer, Brangelina, Kimye). But, ChyRo might actually have a pretty special meaning behind it and it all depends on pronunciation.

ChyRo could either be pronounced "Chai-Ro" or "Cairo." If it's the first, then there's nothing super interesting about it other than the fact that maybe Kardashian and Chyna love chai lattes. However, if ChyRo is pronounced like Egypt's capital, then there could very well be a sentimental meaning for why the Kardashian brother and his 27-year-old girlfriend are now going by ChyRo.

For those unaware, Chyna has a son with Tyga (yes, the same man Kylie Jenner is dating) and their son is named King Cairo Stevenson. Do you see what I'm getting at? Maybe, just maybe, ChyRo represents not only Kardashian and Chyna's relationship, but also her 3-year-old son. If so, then you have to admit that is sweet.

Usually, couple names don't have any sentimentality behind them. In most instances, the media or fans create a shipper name and then that's what the famous couple goes by. I guess Kardashian and Chyna wanted to take control and give themselves their own name — and one that might be very close to their hearts.
