Kaia Gerber Went Blonde For A Day

Now that she's appeared on the cover of Vogue, Kaia Gerber's career is moving at a much rapid pace. The 14-year-old model already has a signature look — often compared to her supermodel mom, Cindy Crawford — but it doesn't mean she can't switch it up every once in a while. In a photo posted on her Instagram, Kaia Gerber went blonde for a day with the help of, in her own words, "just a lil wig."

Earlier this week, Gerber and her mom covered Vogue Paris, which is a remarkable achievement for an up-and-coming model. But despite having a personal connection to the fashion industry, Gerber seems like she's willing to work just as hard as anybody else to accomplish her goals. In a Teen Vogue interview last year, Gerber shared that she's interested in pursuing non-modeling projects, including acting, dance, and musical theater.

"I like to explore beyond who I am so I can feel for other people," Gerber said. "When you become someone else, you better understand others." Perhaps wearing a blonde wig, even if it's just for a one-day photo shoot, will inspire the teen to get out of her comfort zone and challenge herself by embodying another character. And blonde or brunette, Gerber definitely has star quality.
