Shay Mitchell's 'PLL' Instagram Is Too Cute

It's no secret that Pretty Little Liars is full of shocking moments and insane reveals (don't even get me started on how creeped out I am a week after seeing Mary Drake in make-up that looked better-suited to The Walking Dead). But one of the most surprising things to happen on the show was when the Liars finally graduated high school and headed off to college in the Season 6A finale. I know Rosewood is a strange place, but I was always seriously confused about the fact that high school seemingly lasts for about six years there. I'm still getting used to the idea that the Liars are no longer in high school and have officially joined the workforce. (Of course, all that's on hold now that they have a new Big Bad after them.) But, before they entered the twisted town of Rosewood and spent an inordinate number of years in high school, the Pretty Little Liars cast members were a seriously adorable group of children.

On Tuesday morning, Shay Mitchell posted a cute and hilarious Instagram photo of her own idea for a Season 7 poster. Instead of the serious, chic young women we're used to seeing in photos and the opening credits, she replaced all their images with childhood photos — and the result was predictably adorable. (The show is called Pretty LITTLE Liars, after all.)

I'm starting to think that Mitchell is really onto something with her idea for Season 7. I know the logistics would be a little complicated since they would involve time travel, but I really hope I. Marlene King looks into this.
