While there were initially some sources of contention amongst the Kardashian-Jenner family about Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna's relationship — namely that he's dating the ex and baby mama of Kylie Jenner's boyfriend, Tyga — it seems like that's all water under the bridge now, at least where Kris Jenner is concerned. It's been overwhelmingly clear that since Kardashian started dating Blac Chyna, he's been less reclusive and happier than he has been over the past year. So when Kris Jenner revealed her feelings about Blac Chyna to Australian radio DJs Kyle and Jackie O, is it really that big of a surprise that the Kardashian matriarch only had kind things to say about her son's girlfriend?

"I haven't really seen her that much, and I don't know her as well as everyone else, but she seems like a really nice girl," Jenner revealed on Australia's KISS 1065 FM. "He's been very, very happy lately and I think he's in a really good place."

And that's in no small part thanks to Blac Chyna, who seems to have entered Kardashian's life at exactly the right time, helping him eat healthier (as evidenced on her Snapchat tour of his pantry), lose weight, and just put a big ol' goofy smile on his face.

"Kris is so grateful to Blac Chyna for rehabilitating her son," a source told Us Weekly. Jenner might not say that herself — at least, not in so many words — but it's obvious that the sentiment is there. And it's nice to see her putting any qualms she might have aside to instead focus on how happy Chyna is making her son. That's certainly something to celebrate, don't you think?

Jenner has voiced her concerns about Kardashian's health in the past, like when she revealed on a 2015 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians that she was truly afraid that her son, who gained 100 pounds in a year and was later diagnosed with diabetes, was going to die.

"I feel like if I don't help him do something drastic, that he's gonna die," she said at the time. A beyond terrifying thought for any parent, I'm sure. So now to see her son doing so well both mentally and physically, it must be incredibly relieving. And Jenner is not above giving credit where credit is due, either, clearly hinting that Kardashian's new relationship is a big part of why he's feeling so great.
