When it comes to being a celebrity, part of the job is fielding questions about your personal life. That's something singer Meghan Trainor knows all too well. If you're a huge fan of the "All About That Bass" musician, then I'm sure you find yourself wondering about who is Meghan Trainor dating. Well, if you're hoping for a straight answer, it seems to be: no one. She told E! Online in January, "No, I'm single, still."
That said, I can inform you about some of the individuals she's been linked to.
On more than one occasion, Trainor has made headlines for her dating life. However, the 22-year-old artist doesn't get why people are interested in who she may or may not be seeing, which is probably why she always plays so coy. As she told Entertainment Tonight in January 2015, "I'd love to have a boyfriend. A boyfriend sounds great! I didn't realize the whole world wanted to know about it, so I didn’t know how to deal with that but I'll learn."
It has to be tough being in the spotlight and constantly having your personal life scrutinized. That said, it seems like Trainor has been handling the rumors about her love life the best way she can, especially when it comes to these three gentleman.
Cory Anderson
In January 2015, Trainor was linked to Nick Jonas' assistant, Cory Anderson. However, it turned out the two were just friends. In the same interview in which Trainor told ET about not understanding why everyone wants to know who she is dating, she also commented on the Anderson dating rumors. "He's a good friend," she said. "He's great, he's cool." Now, she didn't come outright and say, "We're not dating," but I think you get the gist.
Charlie Puth
At the 2015 American Music Awards, Trainor and Charlie Puth kissed during their "Marvin Gaye" performance. Of course, everyone then inquired about their relationship status. They both denied they were dating. First, Trainor took to Instagram and wrote, "All about dat ass grab doe @charlieputh proud of you Charlie #imsingle." As for Puth, he took to Twitter and said, "Before it begins... we are just friends. so happy to preform with Meghan tonight!! Thank you for all the love everybody! :)"
DeAndre Jordan
In January 2016, there were rumors that Trainor was dating DeAndre Jordan from the Los Angeles Clippers. Again, she coyly shut down dating rumors while chatting with Entertainment Tonight. "DeAndre is a great friend of mine," she said. "He's awesome." Then, after being asked who she would bring to the Grammys, she answered, "It's [going to be] my father. My father is gonna be always my Grammy date forever. My parents are both coming with me, so I'm excited!"
As of right now, it appears Trainor is saying "no" to having a boyfriend and "yes" to enjoying the single life.
