Remember When The JoBros Sang 'Jungle Book' Songs?

By now, you probably know that The Jungle Book features some classic tunes, but Jon Favreau, director of the new live-action (or live-ish action) take on Disney's animated classic, has yet to confirm what songs from the original movie made it into the new one. The only song you can know for sure to have a spot on The Jungle Book soundtrack is "Bare Necessities," as sung by Bill Murray's Baloo and Neel Sethi's Mowgli. The two actors even performed the tune on Jimmy Kimmel Live. But, what about the other Jungle Book songs like "I Wanna Be Like You," "That's What Friends Are For" and "Trust In Me"? And, more importantly, where can you get The Jungle Book soundtrack?

The Jungle Book soundtrack is currently available for pre-order on Amazon.com and is set to be released on Apr.15, the same day as the film hits theaters. The official soundtrack, however, is not yet on iTunes, and an official track listing has yet to be released. It's believed that The Jungle Book soundtrack will have at least three songs from the original movie: "Bare Necessities," "I Wanna Be Like You" and "Trust In Me," all of which are listed as part of the soundtrack on IMDB. Assuming this information is correct, then we'll get to hear Christopher Walken sing as King Louie and Scarlett Johansson as the serpent Kaa. Unfortunately, none of those songs have been released yet. But, in the meantime, here are five times celebs sang songs from The Jungle Book .

"The Bare Necessities" — Harry Connick Jr.

Long before he was a judge on American Idol, Harry Connick Jr. recorded a smooth version of Baloo's "The Bare Necessities" for the 1991 album Simply Mad About the Mouse. The album featured a string of famous artists singing Disney classics, including LL Cool J's "Who's Afraid Of The Big Bad Wolf" and Billy Joel singing "When You Wish Upon A Star."

"I Wanna Be Like You" — Fall Out Boy

Fall Out Boy's cover of "I Wanna Be Like You" for the 2015 album We Love Disney, another CD of Disney covers, is surprisingly awesome.

"Trust In Me" — Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez covered Kaa's "Trust In Me" for Disneymania 7, released in 2010.

"The Bare Necessities" — Tom Hiddleston

Loki himself gave a fun, and instantly iconic, performance of "The Bare Necessities" at a charity event in 2013. It's completely good and adorable. Definitely one of the better celebrity covers of a Jungle Book song.

"I Wanna Be Like You" — The Jonas Brothers

Remember when the Jonas Brothers had weirdly flat-ironed hair? Back when they were still Disney Channel royalty, the JoBros recorded a pop-rock version of "I Wanna Be Like You" for Disneymania 5 (2007). It's about as horrible as you'd imagine (sorry Joe.)

These pop-ified versions of The Jungle Book songs are probably nothing like the versions that ended up in the film, but they are fun to check out in the meantime.
