Craig & Cameran Ring Shop On 'Southern Charm'

Let the record show: Whether you need a ride to a McDonald’s drive-thru or would like a second opinion when choosing a gemstone for your significant other, Cameran from Southern Charm is your gal. On Monday’s episode of the Charleston-based reality series, the former Real World star-turned-Bravolebrity met Craig at a jewelry store for some serious shoppin'. The occasion: Craig was on a mission to pick out a bauble for girlfriend Naomie. Not just any bauble, but a bauble that'd show her just how serious he is about their relationship. He was ready to "take the next step."

Could it be? Could our sweet, darling Craig be popping the big question?

Well, after a minute of letting the viewers at home think it might be an engagement ring, Craig explained to the jeweler that it was a “pre-engagement ring.” Or, as the jeweler called it (much to the chagrin of Craig), "a promise ring." Craig selected a lovely (and pricey) gem-encrusted promise ring for Naomie, but he did not put it on a string, à la Tom Schwartz of Vanderpump Rules.

When does Craig give Naomie the ring? Does she love it? Or will we have another ring on a string (er, ring off a string?) fiasco on our hands? I'm on the edge of my seat! Until next time!

Side note: On first glance, I was 99% certain that the man standing behind the jewelry counter was The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Terry Dubrow wearing a gemologist's headband and coat, waiting for the right moment to yell “SURPRISE! It’s me, Terry Dubrow, M.D.! What a crossover, huh?”

That man is not Terry Dubrow. Don't mind my crossover dream as it hops on one of Patricia’s inflatable flamingos and floats away.
