Nick Wants Reagan To Return on 'New Girl'

by Kelly Schremph

As sweet as Nick and Jess' moments together have been lately, there still seems to be another woman that's currently in possession of Nick's heart. I'm referring, of course, to Megan Fox's New Girl character, Reagan, whose been noticeably MIA ever since Jess' return. But after Tuesday night's episode, titled "Dress," there's a very good chance Reagan will return for Schmidt and Cece's wedding. But I'm getting a little ahead of myself here.

You see, Nick was determined to ask Reagan to be his date on the big day, but became instantly worried that she no longer wanted anything to do with him when she failed to respond to his initial text. So he did what any logical person would do. He asked Cece to text her and see if she would respond to her instead. And when that failed, he proceeded to use multiple burner phones to try and get to the bottom of things. (Only he can pull this off without seeming creepy, mind you.)

In the end, though, he just decided to come right out and be honest with her about everything. He tried texting her again from his phone, asking her directly whether or not she would come with him to the wedding. And while she ended up declining due to work, it sounded like she was really bummed about not being able to make it, as was Nick. Luckily, earlier on Tuesday, TVLine released photos that confirm Reagan will be there on Schmidt and Cece's big day, so I think she might actually surprise Nick at the wedding.

Clearly, these two have some strong residual feelings for each other. So if there's ever any hope of Nick and Jess getting back together in the future, he needed to resolve things with Reagan first. And what better excuse is there for a romantic reunion than Schmidt and Cece's wedding? Just saying!
