Khloe Kardashian filed for divorce from her husband Lamar Odom back in December and it really seemed like the decision was final. I mean, we watched her struggle with Odom's increasingly erratic behavior on Keeping Up with the Kardashians and that show doesn't lie! Apparently, Odom hasn't been keeping up because in a new interview with Us Weekly, Lamar Odom says that the divorce from Kardashian may not go through.
Odom told the magazine, "I love my wife. She'll always be my wife, no matter what. Who knows? We don't know exactly if [the divorce is going through]. Only time will tell. I hope not. But even if we were divorced, she would always be my wife." This sounds like a completely different Odom than the one who has been featured on recent episodes of KUWTK. On the show Odom is rarely shown in person, but Kardashian has been filmed receiving strange phone calls from her husband as well as concerned calls from people who work with Odom professionally. It is also different than the stories the media tells about Odom and Kardashian which have focused on Odom's possible drug issues and made Kardashian's decision sound unwavering.
Odom went on to say,
I think it's easy for people to say, 'Because you do this, you must be this kind of person, vain or uptight or meant [sic] to people.' People have a sense of who you may be because of the job you do. That's unfair judgement. I think we prejudge a little bit too much these days because there's so much access to everything about the world. It's easy for us to look at a YouTube video or a program that doesn't turn off and say, 'This guy must be this way.' I understand how powerful TV is, but there's nothing I would do different.Odom, who was recently signed to a Spanish basketball team, sounds like he is getting his life together (minus, Kardashian whom he credits for "the best years of [his] life") in this interview and he makes it clear that he thinks his situation was presented differently than it's reality. Everyone should already know that reality shows never give the full story.
