Josh Murray Is Ready For Love

by Alaina Urquhart-White

The Bachelorette Season 10 winner has had a tough go at love recently. After Josh Murray got engaged to Andi Dorfman on her season, things quickly soured for the couple and unfortunately, they later split and ended their engagement. Luckily for Josh, there is always a new reality show centered around finding a mate and E!'s new series, Famously Single, might be just the ticket to get Josh back on track in the dating department. The show isn't meant to set people up, but it is a way for these stars to figure out why dating is so tough for them. So, after the show, is Josh Murray still single?

In an interview with Bustle, Josh revealed that he is still on the market and searching for the right woman for him. "I was very close in my life to settling a couple of times, and it just is not good," he says. "You can't settle. You've got to be picky, because that's the rest of your life."

Josh further explains that Famously Single was a way for him to learn about what he could work on going forward. "I didn't date a lot before The Bachelorette, and I probably should have. I would have known a lot of things and learned about dating," he says. He continues, admitting that it's hard for him to meet women. "I'm very shy to be honest with you," he reveals. "When I see someone I like, I don't know how to approach them. I don't know what to say, and I don't want to be rejected. I just feel awkward."

I think we have all related to this feeling at one point or another, so it's cool that he wanted to learn how to overcome this and better himself for his dating future.

And, it seems the show really worked for him. He tells Bustle the one big thing he learned is "to be proactive and go out there," he says. "Who cares if you get denied and somebody doesn't like you? It's OK take a chance." It seems like that's exactly what Josh was there to learn, so it's great that the experience gave him the tools to meet the woman of his dreams.

Josh also admits he's ready for marriage, going as far to say that he wants a wife "more than anything." He continues, saying, "I want a best friend, and I want kids. I want a family. I need to go out there and find her. " And, with all the skills he's picked up from Famously Single, I'm sure he'll be able to find her soon.
