'Bachelorette' Star Wells Has A TV Twin

When this season of The Bachelorette started, I couldn’t shake the feeling that I had seen one of the contestants before. No, it wasn’t Jordan Rodgers, former NFL player and brother of quarterback Aaron Rodgers — it was Wells Adams, a Nashville-area DJ who looked strikingly familiar. I couldn’t place it. Well, I couldn’t place it until I caught an episode of a classic Freeform show Bachelorette contestant Wells Adams and suspect (maybe) doctor Wren Kingston from Pretty Little Liars are basically the same person. Well, looks wise that is. Personality wise they could not be more different.

Wren charmed us Pretty Little Liars fans in with his boyish nature and good looks, and then he got really creepy, really fast. His offenses include making out with his fiancée’s sister, acting really shady around Radley (is he even a doctor? I’m still not sure), helping Melissa cover up killing Bethany Young, kissing Hanna (who is way too young for him), and generally being a creep storm. We haven’t seen Wren in a while since he’s in London with Melissa, so I’m sure he’s up to something.

Fortunately, the same cannot be said for the reality show contestant. Wells generally stayed off the radar on The Bachelorette , save for the firefighting date where he almost died because the equipment weighed as much as he did (he pulled it together, don’t worry). Wells has this impish charm — he was so nervous when he had to kiss JoJo! He has a bloodhound named Carl! He’s a radio DJ! I mean, does it get any better? In fact, I think that Wells can give his television twin Wren some pointers on how to be a better person. But first, a side by side of how insanely similar they look:

Wells Shows Wren How To Pick One Woman

The whole point of Wells going on The Bachelorette was so that he could find his wife — the one woman he would spend the rest of his life with. Wren should take some lessons from Wells, because he definitely plays the field a little too much. Wren flirted with Spencer from the start of Pretty Little Liars (even though he was engaged to Melissa, her sister). Pretty crappy, right? He also kissed Hanna, and now he's back — possibly — with Melissa. Can this guy just make a decision already? Wells only kisses a woman when he knows it's right — maybe Wren can take a page from that playbook.

Wells Lectures Wren On How To Let Go

25 contestants walk into The Bachelorette, and only one walks out — you have to expect that you'll go home. It's just the law of averages. When JoJo dumped Wells on his one-on-one date, he took it very well. Though he was sad, he didn't seem like a slighted manchild. Wells was kind to JoJo, jumped in the limo, and went on his merry way. Wren, on the other hand, doesn't seem to know when to leave well enough alone. He was always in Radley, following one or more of the Liars around. Wren would pop up in random places when the liars weren't ready. I mean, couldn't you have just stayed with Melissa and lived happily ever after, dude? What do you want with all of these then-teenage girls anyway? Wells could teach Wren a thing or two about moving on.

Wells Teaches Wren To Relax

I'm pretty sure that Wren thinks he's a Bond villain or maybe even James Bond himself. Always sneaking around in dark mental hospitals, jetting off to England at the first sign of trouble... ugh. Wells would never do that. This guy is chill. If Wells' Snapchat is any indication, he likes to drink boxed wine and comment on The Bachelorette. I think that Wren could do well with some bad wine and worse television — it may calm him down a bit.
