On Wednesday afternoon, led by Rep. John Lewis, House Democrats kicked off a sit-in over the failure of reasonable gun control bills to be passed by Congress in the wake of the Orlando shooting. The massacre at Pulse nightclub was the deadliest in U.S. history, killing 49 people and wounding 50-plus more, and follows a long list of tragedies that came and went without gun reform: Sandy Hook, Aurora, Virginia Tech, Umpqua Community College. If you're keen to show your support, but you're not a House Democrat who's able to actually participate, here are some "No Bill, No Break" memes and images you can share on social media to show your friends and followers that you're in favor of this protest.
In addition, if you're passionate about imposing meaningful and reasonable restrictions on the selling and purchasing of firearms, here are some ways you can throw your support behind gun control right now. Although the Republican-led Congress struck down several bills that hoped to stop massacres like Orlando from happening again this week, there are also some other pieces of legislation that you can look into and support that are fighting for gun control reform.
Here are some ideas for what you can share...
