'PLL' Just Revealed Rollins' Real Name

Rollins may be dead and buried, but clearly his story is far from over and it's even more complicated than we ever imagined. After finally getting their hands on the evil doctor's burner phone, Mona and Hanna discover that Rollins' real name is actually Archer Dunhill. And what initials do those letters just so happen to make? A.D. That's right, my friends. A freaking D. So does this mean that Archer Dunhill is the mysterious A.D. on Pretty Little Liars that's been tormenting the girls all season, desperately trying to uncover Charlotte's murderer? It would certainly make sense, given how they both seemed to share the same ultimate goal, but when has this series ever made things that easy?

Look, I'm not going to lie, it would be easy to jump to such an obvious conclusion. In fact, it's probably what the writers are banking on. But I'm having a hard time believing that the latest A identity would be revealed so early in the season. That would leave no one to send them cryptic texts and puzzling emojis. So no, I don't think it's as clear cut as PLL is trying to make it seem.

However, that doesn't mean that this Archer guy wasn't in cahoots with A.D. Heck, maybe they're even related and just so happen to have the same initials. Or maybe Mary Drake also has a son and the D in A.D. stands for Drake and not Dunhill. All I'm saying is let's not jump right into the notion that A.D. has been unmasked. This series never makes anything easy on us and I doubt Season 7 will be any exception.

So far we know that Rollins... uhhh... I mean, Archer, Mary Drake, and now Jenna are somehow all connected in this latest mystery. The how and why are still unclear, but one thing's for sure: we know even less about this faux Rollins than we thought we did and now that he's dead, the Liars' problems have only just begun.
