The 'Gilmore Girls' Trailer Is Full Of Reveals

For the first time in almost a decade, it's time to return to Stars Hollow — and the first trailer for Netflix's Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life proves that you can always go home again. Sometimes, literally! In the trailer, Lorelai and Rory are back at the kitchen table having a chat about pop culture just like it's 1999 all over again — except now, there is Google and Amy Schumer. Yeah, so, better than 1999. The trailer also reveals a lot of little potential Gilmore Girls spoilers and things every fan should note, which is perhaps the most exciting thing.

The Gilmores will officially return on November 25, the day formerly known as Black Friday (I'm moving it be renamed Gilmore Friday, for the record) and to celebrate this momentous occasion, Netflix has released the most adorable teaser trailer to ever be a tease. While it clocks in at almost a minute and a half, the only major footage involves a very serious conversation about whether or not Amy Schumer and Lorelai would be friends.

Yes, it is as majestic as it sounds.

Of course, after all this waiting there is no way I am taking anything at face value. There are definitely hints about what lies ahead buried in Lorelai and Rory's conversation and familiar surroundings. Here is everything you might have missed in the Gilmore Girls trailer while you were sobbing uncontrollably from happiness.

The First Episode Is "Winter"

The first episode will chronicle Lorelai, Rory, Luke, and the rest of the Stars Hollow gang's winter. The trailer confirms the new series will begin in "Winter" and end — sob — with "Fall."

Lorelai Is Wearing An "I'm With Human" T-Shirt

Could Lorelai be pregnant? If her shirt is any indication the world may finally see a Luke and Lorelai baby. I mean, look at that newspaper, it is pretty strategically placed if Lorelai has a new baby on the way. On the other hand, Lauren Graham is friends with designer Rachel Antonoff, and the shirt comes from her brand... but still, a pregnant Lorelai would totally love that punny shirt.

There Are No Rings On Those Fingers

OK, so it was common knowledge Rory would not be married at the start of the series, but curiously, Lorelai is not wearing an engagement ring either. Maybe there hasn't been a re-proposal yet, even though Luke and Lorelai are together? Very intriguing.

Rory & Lorelai Still Love Pop-Tarts

If you were concerned Rory or Lorelai would suddenly become health food junkies, worry no more. Not only are they eating Pop-Tarts in the trailer, there is an entire plate full of backups waiting in front of them.

5. Rory (Probably) Still Has Her Old Room

While it's hard to see any major details, the room off the kitchen still looks very Rory-fied. There are purses hanging up, what looks like Rory's old lamp, and a pendant on the wall. While Rory may not live at home full time, Lorelai clearly has not turned Rory's old room into a sewing nook.

There Will Be A Christmas Celebration

The Gilmore Halls are very decked.

Rory Is A Big Fan Of Google

The days when Rory and Lorelai liked their Internet slow so they could get up, walk around, and make a sandwich are over. Rory has embraced the digital age and will definitely stop to search for random facts mid-conversation on her phone.

The Gazebo Is Still A Stars Hollow Favorite

The gazebo is still one of Stars Hollow's best locales, and while it is hard to be sure at the distance the famed landmark is shown in the trailer, it looks like Rory could be having a chat with someone there. (Say it with me everyone: Please be Jess, please be Jess.)

Pop Culture Is Still A Gilmore's Best Friend

Amy Schumer, John Oliver, and the corpse flower all get name checked in the trailer. The Gilmores have not let their attention to pop culture detail slide.

Rory & Lorelai Are Still The Best

While their lives have no doubt changed drastically, Rory and Lorelai are still the fast-talking, mother/daughter duo the world fell in love with so many years ago.

Can it be Gilmore Day now? The trailer may not reveal much, but it still makes me want to return to Stars Hollow immediately.
