What Advice Did Scott Disick Give Rob Kardashian?

Just when you thought the Kardashian-Jenner family tree couldn't get any bigger, Rob Kardashian is expecting a child with Blac Chyna. Not only is the couple having a baby, but they're also engaged. (Or at least, I sure hope so — considering Kardashian's recent social media purge.) Since a lot of his relatives have kids themselves, he's surrounded by a pretty awesome support network. For example, during a recent conversation with E! News, Disick recounted parenting advice he gave Kardashian. The gist? To "not get ahead of himself." Elaborating on the brotherly bonding moment, he said,

"Take every day like it's a new day, start fresh, be present, be happy, and you know, have a positive energy and a positive vibe so your child comes into the world with a positive energy."

Since Disick is a father of three, he knows firsthand what it's like to be a new dad. And although he's had his share of struggles while in the spotlight, at the end of the day, it's clear he cares about his kids. It's also great that he's not saying he has to be a perfect parents; he's just encouraging him to do the best he can. And really, what else can you ask for?

Not only does this advice come at a new period of Kardashian's life, but it suggests change for Disick as well. When he first appeared on Keeping Up With The Kardashians , he was undoubtedly a party boy, who didn't take his responsibilities too seriously. His comments to Kardashian show that he's matured in life and is much more insightful than he previously seemed. His focus on positivity shows progress, because even if he makes mistakes (as all people do), he just moves on and grows from it.

Considering Disick is always having a blast with his own kids — Mason, Penelope, and Reign — I can't wait to see him bond with his future nephew. (OK, technically he and Kourtney aren't married, but still, he's forever a part of the Kardashian fam — legally or not.) He's bound to be the cool uncle, who helps that kid dress in sunglasses and fly planes.

No matter what, at the end of the day this family has one another's backs and that's exactly how it should be.
