'Fifty Shades' Covers "Crazy In Love" Again

by Courtney Lindley

Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey are back, but this time things are darker. And everyone's wearing more masks. Also this time, there's another slowed-down version of "Crazy In Love" to titillate your senses, and get you amped up for more sexy sex things, blares on in the background of this couple's escapades. The first trailer for Fifty Shades Darker has hit the internet, but the only things I'm really paying attention to include a) All the things I just mentioned, b) Kim Basinger (what!), and c) The breathy "Crazy In Love" cover sung by Miguel. Yes, that Miguel. If you need something to tide you over in between now and the film's release date (Valentine's Day, of course), perhaps you'll want to get your hands on that song so you can play it over and over in your car and make those passing by moderately uncomfortable. But, where can you get Miguel's "Crazy In Love" cover? Good question. I'm glad you took precious time away from watching that shower sex in the trailer to ask.

Don't get too excited because the track isn't available on Spotify or iTunes... yet. In fact, we might have to wait a while for any of the movie's music to become available. Thankfully, my investigative journalistic skills could help us ballpark a general time frame. But, first, watch the steamy trailer, because it's filled with both literal and metaphorical fireworks.

The Fifty Shades Darker trailer might instruct us to "forget the past," but to that I say "no thank you." The past will illuminate how and when I can get my hands on Miguel's "Crazy In Love." Let's get into what I mean. The first Fifty Shades of Grey film was released Valentine's Day last year, February 14, 2015. The soundtrack was released only four days prior, on February 10, 2015. In it, we had Queen Bey's slowed down "Crazy in Love" version that was featured on Fifty Shades of Grey' s original teaser trailer, amongst some other incredibly seductive songs.

But, this: "Crazy In Love" was made available on February 6, 2015. So, since Fifty Shades Darker is following the Fifty Shades of Grey formula and coming out on February 14, we might have to wait until February 10 to get our hands on Miguel's "Crazy In Love" cover. However, it could become available even before the soundtrack and as early as the sixth.

Alright, I know that's kind of a long time to wait, but in the meantime, at least you can put the trailer on loop? Uh oh uh oh uh oh oh no no. No, seriously.
