Dress Like T. Swift At The Grammys For Halloween

Taylor Swift stepped out in some amazing looks during 2016, but in order to dress like Taylor Swift in 2016 for Halloween, you kind of have to pick one of them. For me, the most iconic look was definitely color-blocking brilliance at the 2016 Grammys. That was, hands down, a perfect look, and conveniently, also a totally easy look to emulate during Halloween. Throw together some clothes, grab a few tongue-in-cheek accessories — of course, no Swift costume would be anything without a few references to the kind of year the singer had, because 2016 was a big year for her — and you're good.

Of course, you can have your pick from the many things that were oh so Swift this year. You could include your own squad in the lineup. You could go full Hiddleswift, too, with American flag clothes to match. Or, you could make a reference to her break up with Calvin Harris that might just get your whole party talking. Again, snaps to you if you already have something like this in your closet. You’re one step closer to Swift glory. But, just in case maxi skirts aren’t your thing (some of us are short!), here’s one for $15.99 from Amazon.

A Tom Hiddleston Life-Size Cut Out

Now, the above clothing items alone will definitely put you in full on Swift territory. If you put that ensemble together, most people will get the picture. But, if you are willing to put a little bit of accessorizing into your outfit (and a little bit more money), I highly encourage you to include in your costume this life-size cut out of Tom Hiddleston from Amazon for a cool $78.21.

The good news is that, after you win your party’s costume contest, many of these items are reusable — except the Hiddleston cutout, I guess, but I don't know, I guess you could cart that out to dinner once in a while if you want.
