Here's How To Watch The 2016 Emmys Red Carpet

by Augusta Statz

The only thing better than watching your favorite shows is watching them win awards at the Emmys. The actors get all dressed up, make their way across the red carpet and later receive awards for their work. And since you’re not going to want to miss a single minute of celebrating TV's big night, you need to find out how to stream the 2016 Emmys red carpet because let’s be honest — the awards show just wouldn’t be as great without the fashion and the interviews.

Since you’re so invested in your fave characters on TV and IRL, you’re going to want to get the most well-rounded Emmys experience possible. It’s not enough to see the Modern Family cast accept an award, you have to know the details about their designer ensembles, too, you know? The red carpet portion of the evening begins at 5 p.m. ET on Sept. 18 while the Jimmy Kimmel-hosted awards show begins at 7 p.m. ET. Lucky for you, there are a few ways for you to get in on the action, the moment the actors arrive.

You can watch it all happen live on TV on ABC. The channel will also be streaming online for those who have a subscription to the network. But, if you don’t have cable, you can still watch the evening unfold. The official Emmys website will be streaming the event. There are also several news sources, such as Popsugar and People magazine, that will offer a live feed online.

The best-dressed characters are often the best on the red carpet. You're not going to want to miss seeing what Kerry Washington (a.k.a. Olivia Pope) wears to this year's Emmys.
