Prince George & Princess Charlotte Join The Canada Tour Festivities & It's The Best Part Of The Trip — PHOTOS
Sometimes current events can seem pretty grim. While it's easy to get caught up in following tragedies, there's still good in the world. And just in case you needed a reminder, look no further than the British royal family's trip to Canada. According to People, Prince William and Kate Middleton attended an event on Thursday and brought along their children, Princess Charlotte and Prince George. Aside from being photographed getting off the airplane, this was the kids' first real Canada appearance and it was totally worth the wait. Sky News reported that the event was a children's party for military families. While they came together for a good cause, it's like a gift to all of us. The photos are absolutely adorable.
First of all, Princess Charlotte is quite the active and adventurous toddler. Sure, she celebrated her first birthday in May, but I had no idea she already walked around so much. She's also rather determined, trying with all of her might to pop balloons. Then, Prince George (who I sometimes forget is still just a kid, since he dresses like a mini adult) rode on a pony. Plus, I forgot to mention that his little sis sat on a dog and pet a bunny. Animals and cute kids — is there anything better? Nope, nope, nope.
Below is a round-up of the best photos from the party. If you find yourself wanting more cuteness, fear not — the #RoyalsVisitCanada hashtag on Twitter is filled with updates galore. And yes, that includes plenty of sweet photos.
This video from Sky News really gives a full play-by-play, including commenting on George's "fine red shorts."
Sitting On A Dog
I guess Charlotte thought Moose looked like a comfy chair.
Charlotte's New BFF
Obviously she and the dog became good friends.
Riding A Pony
Prince George is living the dream.
Am I the only one who didn't know Charlotte can already talk? She calls Prince William "da-da" and it's so precious.
Meeting A Bunny
I can't tell whether she's laughing or crying happy tears, but I'd probably do both.
Playing With Bubbles
You haven't seen pure joy until you've seen Prince George play with bubbles.
See what I mean?
Ugh, too cute.
They look utterly amazed as their balloon shapes come to life.
The Whole Fam
I can't even handle their outfit coordination. Prince George is seriously his dad's mini-me.
So Many Balloons
As mentioned before, Charlotte really loves balloons. She's holding onto that flower with a serious grip. She even had one made to match her doggy friend.
OK, that settles it. The royal children are the cutest and should be invited to all events from now on. As long as there are balloons and bubbles, they'll be happy campers.
