North Was Safe & Sound During Kim K's Robbery

As even more details surrounding Kim Kardashian's attack in her Paris hotel room are revealed, the more frightening the situation becomes. Her rep confirmed that the reality star was robbed at gunpoint by two men, who were disguised as police officers. They reportedly stole more than $10 million of jewelry, amongst other valuable belongings. But material objects aside, where were Kardashian's kids during the robbery? According to People, North West was safe and sound, seeing the Broadway show Matilda in New York City. A rep for the Shubert Organization (which owns and operates Broadway theaters) confirmed North's whereabouts to People and said,

"She was there with two other children, a nanny and a security person. After the performance they went backstage and met the children's ensemble and [the actress who played] Matilda. ... The kids were excited to meet her."

Although the overall situation sounds like a nightmare, this is a glimmer of good news. However, it's unclear and unconfirmed who the other two kids at the musical were — whether friends or North's cousins, Penelope and Mason Disick. As for Saint West, People previously reported he was "not involved" in the incident either. Thank goodness. I'm guessing he's a little too young for a Broadway play. It's a relief that both kids were as far away from the situation as possible.

On Monday morning, Kardashian and Kanye West returned to New York City. People reported that the family is now camped out in their apartment, along with Kris Jenner and a few close friends. It's safe to assume Nori and Saint are right there with them. In a statement to Bustle, Kardashian's rep said, "She is badly shaken but physically unharmed." Meanwhile, a source close to the situation told E!,

"She begged for them to let her live and [said] she has babies at home. Then they wrapped her mouth in tape and put her in the bathtub . . . She thought they were for sure going to kill her."

This is undeniably a scary start to the week. Hopefully Kardashian can breathe easier now that she's home safe with her children and husband.
