Taissa Farmiga Will Return To 'AHS: Roanoke'

by Alaina Urquhart-White

One of the best parts of any American Horror Story season has to be waiting for all of the recurring cast members to make their entrance. Well, E! Online reported recently that fan favorite AHS actor Taissa Farmiga would make a triumphant return to Roanoke, and my eyes were set to eagle status during Wednesday's episode. Unfortunately, she didn't make her grand entrance. So, when is Farmiga going to be on American Horror Story: Roanoke ?

Fans were promised a lot for Episode 6 and it was definitely a big installment. The series transitioned from My Roanoke Nightmare to a new reality series, Return To Roanoke: Three Days In Hell where Sidney, the producer, put everyone involved with the original show back in the Roanoke house to be filmed 24 hours a day. You know, like a really messed up version of Big Brother. The E! Online news that Farmiga (and Finn Wittrock for that matter) would be returning as characters this season simply got me too excited. Fans were eagerly awaiting their appearance, and it didn't happen tonight. I am assuming that, when she does show up, Farmiga may step into the role of an actual Lost Colony member, since we still don't know what they actually look like. But, imagine if she was the real Butcher (since Kathy Bates' was the actor version)? I would die. No pun intended.

But, whoever she plays, hopefully Farmiga shows up sooner rather than later, especially considering that there are only four episodes left. Now that there's a new reality show, though, the opportunity to meet the real colonists, ghosts, and spirits means she could show up as early as next week, and I, for one, can't wait.
