Get Ready For Her Inspirational Tour!

by Mallory Schlossberg

Are you ready for some empowerment? Well, the mother of empowerment is coming to help you in your city! That's right — Oprah has just announced an arena tour, which she's calling "The Life You Want." Now you can get the life you want and Oprah — all at once!

After all, when you think of an uplifting, be-what-you-want-to-be, no-bullshit, cut-to-the-chase, of course you think Oprah. If this woman can at least begin to put LiLo on the right track, there's no doubt she can inspire arenas full of folks paying a cool $99 to $999 per ticket to heed her advice.

Oprah says that the tour, however, is not about her, but about you — the audience! It's got the themes of "empowerment, resilience, and authenticity." In her words:

It's about living the life you want, because a great percentage of the population is living a life that their mother wanted, that their husband wanted, that they thought or heard they wanted.

If you drop the dollars (tickets for the event will go on sale on Monday, April 7, and will be available on Oprah's website), you'll get quite the inspiration — and an experience. (Because would Lady O have it any other way?) It will be a two-day experience (damn, that sounds like an Oprah retreat), kicking off with Oprah sharing her own story and advice, filed by activities (Oprah camp!) and speakers the following day. Some of the speakers will be Eat, Pray, Love author Elizabeth Gilbert, OWN star Iyanla Vanzant, pastor Rob Bell, and even Deepak Chopra. You'll be able to share this experience with the other 18,000 folks sitting in the arena with you.

But when describing what may happen at an event spearheaded by Oprah, words do not do the woman justice. GIFs, however, do. This is what you can likely expect:

Some serious and thought-provoking moments.

Perhaps some tears will be shed as she recounts her story and journey to this glorious moment.

Maybe even some more tears. Shit will get emotional.

Some seriously "oh, yes" moments.

Not everything will be so easy. Oprah can be tough — and honest — at times.

And most definitely a lot of this. This is all for you, audience. You know how Oprah does things.
