If porn site RedTube's top Halloween porn searches tell us anything, it's that ghoulish babes and devilish dudes are a total turn on. And in their latest roundup of statistics, we are offered a smutty window into which Halloween costumes are most popular, state by state.
As a card-carrying feminist, I would be remiss if I didn't mention that Halloween costumes are not solely for the male gaze. Some ladies like to dress as a sexy cat or a sexy Black Philip for themselves — or other ladies. At the same time, if you're game to capture the attention of dudes on Samhain eve, then a skimpy get up is your prerogative, too. Either way, a woman's seemingly "slutty" costume is never an excuse for cat-calling or improper sexual contact. Halloween is about doing you, after all. (Or doing other people, if you see fit.)
So which parts of the country prefer the ghoulish and which prefer something a bit more sweet? As "Halloween" was the most popular search, statisticians had to look for the next most popular relative search term to get the dirty details.
Here's what folks across America are into:
1. New Yorkers Want Snow White
The crimson-lipped ingenue is a popular choice for Northeastern folks turned on by poison apples, wicked queens, and enchanted sleep.
2. Floridians Like Nurses
Is it a coincidence that so many folks move to Florida to retire and the most popular porn search is nurses? Methinks not.
3. Minnesota Is Into "Slutty Costumes"
Those in the far north don't really care about specifics, apparently. Minnesotans' most popular Halloween porn search is "slutty costume."
4. Tennesseans Are In Search Of A Succubus
Tennessee is centrally located in the bible belt, so it's not too far off to think folks like their porn demonic. A succubus, for those unfamiliar, is an evil entity who appears in female form and steals your soul via sex.
5. New Jersey Wants A Costume Orgy
No need for the deets, New Jersey natives just want all folks in all costumes to get down together.
6. D.C. Is Into Pokemon Porn
Those in our nation's capital are partial to Pokemon porn, apparently. Kinda makes you wonder if a majority of the searches were done by government officials, doesn't it?
7. Oregonians Want Witches
They're not the only state into wicked women, but Oregonians (and Indianans) are totally turned on by witches.
8. Idaho Likes Vampires
It's unclear if folks in Idaho (and Colorado, Michigan, Virginia and North Carolina) like dude vampires or lady vamps, but either way, this blood sucking creature is a thirsty American favorite.
9. Connecticut Loves Rabbits
Not all searches are sleazy or spooky. Connecticut's most popular search for "bunny" is actually pretty cutesy, and perhaps inspired by Playboy's animal of choice?
10. Kansas Is Hot For Cops
Folks in Kansas, Arizona, West Virginia and Delaware like their blue movies to star the boys and girls in blue. "Cops" was the top search in these locales come Halloween.
