Kim K Will Return To Social Media When She's Ready

by Allyson Koerner

Many have been waiting to see when or if Kim Kardashian will return to social media and the platforms she was extremely active on before her October robbery in France. On Monday, it finally happened when the reality star shared three posts on Facebook, but her return didn't last long because the posts have already been deleted. It's definitely intriguing and may even have some wondering just how much longer will Kim Kardashian be off social media. Based on the fact that she posted on Facebook and then deleted her posts, it seems that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is doing things on her own terms and will return whenever she's most comfortable. And that certainly doesn't seem to be the case at this moment in time. Bustle has reached out to Kardashian's rep regarding the deleted posts, but has not yet received a response.

Seeing that she chose to share two posts linking out to her app/website and an older photo of herself, per People, on Facebook rather than Instagram or Snapchat speaks volumes. In the past, the latter social media outlets were where Kardashian was most active. There's a good chance she chose Facebook, because it made a quieter return and an easier transition back into the world of social media.

So, why did she delete the posts? Maybe it was too much at once for her. Kardashian could've easily become overwhelmed with the response and attention after posting and realized she wasn't ready. If that's true, it could be a while until she returns to social media permanently, if at all. She may not ever come back, but if she does, Kardashian probably won't post as frequently as she once did and will be more restrictive in what she does share with the world.

The 36-year-old reality star hasn't posted on Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, or Facebook at all since she was horrifically robbed at gunpoint in Paris. Even her family members have mentioned how they are all being careful now when it comes to being too public. As Kris Jenner told E! News in October, "I think that this is a wake up call for not only our family, but just for anybody in a similar position. You just have to make sure that you do what you're supposed to do — keep it tight." Khloé Kardashian echoed something similar during an October appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, "Well, I think it’s just a wake up call to make a lot of life adjustments."

Based on Kardashian's lack of social media activity, she's definitely made a lot of adjustments to her life, so let's not rush her return to the internet.

Really, no time limit should be put on when she may or may not return, because only Kardashian knows when is the right time for her to start tweeting, Instagramming, Facebooking, and Snapchatting again.
