One Direction Reaches Out To Louis Tomlinson

With the devastating and heartbreaking death of Louis Tomlinson's mom, the singer's former One Direction bandmates are reaching out and sending him their most heartfelt condolences on social media. Johannah Deakin died on Wednesday at age 42 after a battle with leukemia, her husband revealed in a poignant and touching statement on Thursday.

Zayn Malik was the first to reach out to Tomlinson on Twitter, writing: "@Louis_Tomlinson love you bro! All of your family is in my prayers. proud of your strength and know your mum is too x"

Liam Payne tweeted at Tomlinson and shared a deeply emotional post.

"Louis I'm so sorry for you my brother my heart aches for you, just know I love you the same from a million miles away as i do right next to you," he wrote. "I'm always here for you through everything as you have been for me. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this incredibly sad time I can't begin to imagine what you are all going through. RIP Johanna[h] you are forever in my thoughts."

Though Harry Styles and Niall Horan have yet to comment publicly on Tomlinson's mother's passing, other stars have also reached out to the singer with their condolences. Simon Cowell, Payne's girlfriend Cheryl, and Charlie Puth are among those who have reached out to Tomlinson over social media.

Deakin's death was announced by her husband on Thursday.

"It is with immeasurable sadness that Johannah Deakin’s family said goodbye to Johannah in the early hours of Wednesday 7th December 2016," Dan Deakin said in a statement to Us Weekly. "Earlier this year, Johannah was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of leukemia that required immediate and continuous treatment. We respectfully request that the family are given time and space to grieve in private."
