There's officially a new Spy Kid in town. On Friday evening, news broke that Alexa and Carlos PenaVega's son was born. According to E! Online, the baby boy was reportedly delivered on Wednesday. If you're eager to know the name, luckily this isn't one of those situations where you have to wait. Back in the summer, the couple announced their son's name would be Ocean King PenaVega. That's a strong moniker, for sure.
The PenaVegas first announced the pregnancy back in June. At the time, the dad-to-be, Carlos (who you may remember from Nickelodeon's Big Time Rush) wrote, "There is going to be a new cool kid in town… And by cool I mean dorky just like their father. A little PenaVega is on the way!!!" Throughout the entire pregnancy, Alexa has been documenting her baby bump and sharing exciting updates. She even recently posed with a personalized book with her son's name on it. Honestly, their excitement is endearing and adorable.
Plus, this bundle of joy arrived just in time for the holidays. It's going to be nearly impossible to find any presents that could top that. But based on how open the couple has been throughout the pregnancy process, I can only imagine the photo documentation will continue now that Ocean is actually here. I bet there will be an Instagram of the baby by the Christmas tree before you know it.
Congrats to these new parents. It's only a matter of time before that little boy will be watching reruns of his mom and dad dancing their hearts out on Dancing With The Stars . Either he'll find it sweet or be rolling his eyes at his parents in no time. (I'm sure it'll be the first option, of course.)
