Is She The Next Late Night Host?

This might sound a little crazy, but here goes: Khloe Kardashian is going to be the next host of Chelsea Lately. I know, I know, not only is she not a comedian, she's a Kardashian, but hear me out. There is some good evidence that Kardashian could take Chelsea Handler's place when she leaves the show at the end of this year. Khloe Kardashian hosted Chelsea Lately for the second time on Monday night and it occurred to me, "Oh my god. Khloe Lately (Or Khloe Kandidly or whatever silly alliterative title she wants) is coming!"

Here's why a Khloe Kardashian late night show is in our future:

She's Hosted Chelsea Lately Twice

Monday night was Kardashian's second time filling in for Handler. Kardashian also hosted on March 5. The show could have gotten a different guest host this time, but they let Kardashian host twice. I'm thinking it means she's being tested out a replacement.

She's Not Afraid Of Raunchy, Chelsea Handler-Style Jokes

During her first hosting gig, she joked about having sex with O.J. Simpson amid tabloid rumors that he is her real father. Kardashian said, "I really hope that’s not the case because I did fuck him once." Eek!

On Monday night, Kardashian made a joke about her brother saying, "You may know me as the only Kardashian sister that Chelsea actually likes. However, most people know me as the sister of fashion icon and sock tycoon Rob Kardashian." Hilarious "sock tycoon" comment! Continue. "Rob's been on my mind a lot lately because we're currently living together. And no, we're not sexually involved — my brother's not nearly black enough for me!" Yep, that sounds just about right for Chelsea Lately.

She Already Works For E!

E! is totally fine with promoting the Kardashians as much as possible. There have been three Keeping Up with the Kardashians spin-offs and there is a fourth one, Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons , on the way. I'm sure the network could easily transfer Kardashian to a new gig. Plus, Handler has been open about her issues with E!, but this doesn't seem to be an issue for Kardashian who has been on the channel since 2007.

She's Interested In Hosting

Khloe hosted The X Factor for one season before she left the show. Kardashian was criticized for doing a poor job hosting the live show, but it was her first go at it. She's obviously better at it now (or at least is better without the show being live) and she must have had some interest in hosting to have done it in the first place.

She Doesn't Mind Making Fun Of Her Family

I'm pretty sure making fun of the Kardashians now and then is a requirement for a late night host and Khloe Kardashian has no problem with this. Monday's episode was the same day as Kris and Bruce Jenner's anniversary and Kardashian joked about not knowing how to react to it because her mother split from her step-father last year. Kardashian then called out a group of dancers dressed like Kris and Bruce to help her "acknowledge this awkward situation." During her March guest hosting spot, Kardashian made fun of the tabloids always making up lies, but added that they were right in saying that she's hotter than Kim.

Obviously, this is just a theory and there have been no reports that Kardashian is even being considered for the position. But I say, don't be surprised if there's yet another Kardashian show on E! come next year.
