Will Andi Dorfman meet her soulmate on The Bachelorette, a la Sean Lowe/Catherine Giudici? Will she make the contestants get fish pedicures (yes, I'm still squirming over that Bachelor group date)? Will she break out her so bad they're good dance moves? We'll just have to watch. In the meantime, why don’t we check in with two of Dorfman's old pals: Bachelor Juan Pablo Galavis and Season 18 winner Nikki Ferrell. It's been a couple of months since the finale, and I must admit something: I haven't been keeping up with 'em. I know, I KNOW. What's wrong with me?! But hey, it's never too late to catch up. So that is what I will do now.
Did they find love in a hopeless place (i.e., the Bachelor mansion)?
Here's the highlight reel: Back in March, Galavis wrote a lovey dovey song for Ferrell and shared it with the world. In April, they trekked out to San Francisco together for Museo del Béisbol, attended a Dancing With the Stars taping, and Galavis referred to Ferrell as his girlfriend. They marched through March and weathered the April showers.
If you take a peek at your calendar, you will find that we're currently in the month of May. And according to my research (which involves extensive social media account analysis), it looks those crazy kids mayde it to May. HOWEVER! There is a rumor that the two of 'em split up and are pretending to be together. Oh boy. This isn't their first time to the Rumor Rodeo, but I can't say whether it's true or false. Let's look at the e-evidence:
Galavis gave his catira (translation: "blondie") a shoutout:
Galavis asked that an airline be nicer to his girlfriend:
Galavis and Ferrell visited Ferrell's hometown of Kansas City, MO:
They attended a NASCAR race at Kansas Speedway:
Part of Ferrell's perfect Sunday: local KC beer and a movie marathon with Galavis:
Conclusion: They're in a cute long-distance relationship... or they're super committed to faking a cute long-distance relationship. Who am I kidding? I don't have a clue.
