Wanna See Kanye Live? Now's Your Chance

by Lia Beck

Most huge musical festivals with big name acts are super expensive, but Jay Z (along with sponsorship from Budweiser) came up with a solution to that a couple years ago: The Made in America festival. The festival will take place in both Philadelphia, the city where it began, and Los Angeles, for the first time, this year. Festival attendees will get to pay around $100 to see their favorite musicians instead of, say, $300 to $400 like Bonnaroo or Coachella. The Made in America lineup for Philadelphia has just been announced and it's pretty exciting. Angelenos, you'll have to wait a bit longer it seems, but if the Philly lineup is any indication, the west coast is in for a nice surprise as well.

Philadelphia's two-day Made in America festival will be headlined by Kanye West and Kings of Leon, presumably performing on separate days because that would be torture otherwise. While Kanye West and Kings of Leon make the $100 price tag worth it on their own — tickets to either of their solo concerts will cost you over $50 — they aren't the only guests worth seeing. The lineup also includes Pharrell Williams, The National, Spoon, and Girl Talk among many, many others.

The festival is set for Aug. 30 and 31 and the Los Angeles version will take place at the same time. Tickets are currently on sale. Check out the full line up below!
