The Kimye Wedding Vs. The Royal Wedding

There’s no doubt that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s wedding will likely be the celebration of the year and that thousands of fans will wait with bated breath in hopes that the couple’s marriage lasts longer than 72 days. I can only imagine that brides-to-be will be in awe of Kim's dress and that Kimye’s reception will be like something out of The Great Gatsby. So with private jets taking their guests to Florence, after having a casual brunch with Valentino, and with what feels like the entire world ready to tune in today (to Twitter, unfortunately there's no live-stream) for the nuptials, Kimye’s wedding feels similar to another union that took place three years ago: the royal wedding.

I know, I know. It is almost impossible to compare the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to Kimye considering how dang classy the British royals are, but the Kardashian family is providing some stiff competition. It’s clear that they want to have a wedding that no one will forget (even though I still haven’t forgotten Kris Humphries) and they’re going all out for their friends and family. With all the attention they’re receiving, they might as well be American royalty themselves. Here's why:

KIM'S WEDDING DRESS WILL BE MADE BY A FAMOUS DESIGNER

AND WILL LIKELY HAVE A LONG TRAIN

HER SISTERS WILL PROBABLY WEAR WHITE AS WELL, SIMILAR TO HER LAST WEDDING AND JUST LIKE PIPPA MIDDLETON AT KATE'S WEDDING

And we'll probably start discussing how good Kendall Jenner looked in her dress and begin to forget about Kim's dress.

SECURITY WILL BE EVERYWHERE BECAUSE A WEDDING CRASHER MAY MISTAKE THEM FOR ROYALTY

WHAT SEEMED LIKE EVERY PERSON IN EXISTENCE ATTENDED THE ROYAL WEDDING

SO OF COURSE EVERYONE WILL BE AT KIMYE'S WEDDING
