Jessa Shows Us How To Get Festival Ready

by Shorey Andrews

The summer can mean a lot of things, but perhaps one of the most notable is the on-slew of summer music festivals, and all the fashion goodness that goes along with it. By now we know that attending a music festival no longer means it is just about the music. Fashion has taken on one of it 's most important roles, as we begin to discover music fans of all genres let go of their inhibitions, and dive right into their most prized fashion moments.

We often look to celebrities for inspiration, and the festival circuit is no exception. With the Governor's Ball upon us, and Lollapalooza on the horizon, now is the perfect time to turn to Jessa from HBO's Girls for some festival inspiration. Jessa pulls together outfits that always look as if they took ten minutes to create, but could take others hours to interpret. Since your time is precious I have put together a quick list of Jessa's best festival inspired looks, to help you see your favorite band in style this summer.

1. MAKE A HARDCORE FASHION STATEMENT

When it comes to a great party, Jessa makes it a point to stand out. Like that time she wore a bold feather assemble. If your goal this festival season is to get noticed, look no further than this. Jessa had the right idea by incorporating the feathers as a top layer, later removing it to reveal a sheer dress.

2. EMBRACE THE LACE

So technically this is Jessa's wedding dress, but if you take away the bouquet and remove the veil you have the perfect version of a hippie inspired, lace dress. Bringing back the sixties in the best way possible, Jessa knows how to look the part while still being comfortable in her own skin.

3. THE SEXY BLACK DRESS

When she wants comfort, and style Jessa knows how to take a different spin on the little black dress. If you want to be cozy, but still look sexy, a dress with a lot of room for movement, and cut outs in the right places can put you in the front row of style.

4. LOTS OF LOVELY LAYERS

Jessa is a pro at layering looks and this outfit is a great example of how to play it safe at any festival. The weather can be unpredictable, so instead of risking the rain or far too much sun, accessorize your look the practical way. Scarves, hats, or wraps are the best way to meet weather disasters head on.

5. GO WITH THE FLOW

There is no arguing that Jessa does the bohemian trend proud. Her endless presence in flowing wrap dresses has every woman hooked on boho for good. If you want to feel comfortable, but still feminine while grooving to your favorite artist, look for a sheer flowing wrap dress inspired by Jessa time, and time again.
