She Misses Her Best Friend

by Kadeen Griffiths

Between Kim Kardashian getting married and Kourtney Kardashian being pregnant, the news on Khloe Kardashian has been fairly slow. Well, if you call Khloe and French Montana posing with a gun slow news, but it practically is by Kardashian standards. Even Kylie and Kendall Jenner have released a book and Kris Jenner pole danced on the season premiere of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, so we've got most of the family firmly represented news wise. If you, like me, don't watch KUWTK and instead get your Kardashian news on every other day of the week, here's your update on Khloe: She really misses Rob Kardashian.

Khloe expressed that sentiment in the usual Kardashian way. She tweeted it, including a link to a picture on Instagram of herself and Rob as children. The picture appears to be a screencap of a Keeping Up with the Kardashians episode, but it depicts a young Khloe with one arm wrapped around Rob Kardashian as he stares off to the right. Rob Kardashian has been laying low since his appearance at LAX drew negative scrutiny to his appearance, although he has taken the time to infrequently tweet things from inspiration quotes to gym reminders. Apparently, that laying low includes laying low from family members as well.

Rob didn't even attend Kim Kardashian's wedding to Kanye West due to some "family drama" that some believed was a fight between himself and Kim that resulted in her disparaging his weight. Considering the supportive tweets his family sent after the Internet started fat shaming him, that seems unlikely, but I suppose we'll find out on this season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

Khloe was one of the Kardashians who tweeted their support of Rob and Rob was the only member of the family that Khloe told about her problems with Lamar Odom back before their divorce, so it makes perfect sense that she would be hurting the most from not having him around as much. As her picture clearly shows, the two of them have been best friends since they were children and it's likely that they need each other now more than ever. Maybe this picture is only the prologue to an actual phone call reaching out to Rob. Maybe it's a reminder that the Kardashians are real people behind the fame.

No matter what it's a sign of, it's adorable and it's making me miss their friendship almost as much as Khloe does. Well, all right, not even close, but it's still really heartbreaking.
