9 Times Scott Disick Was Actually the Leader

by Casey Rackham

There is no denying it: Scott Disick is the best person on Keeping Up With the Kardashians . Sure, you've got the abrasive and funny Khloe Kardashian, the sarcastic Kourtney Kardashian, the controlling Kris Jenner, and the "I can't believe how long it takes her to put on makeup" Kim Kardashian West, but what the show truly counts on to hold it together is the completely ridiculous enigma that is Lord Disick. Almost all of the time, no one can really explain what Scott is ever doing. Questions range from, "Why does he have that wig and mustache on?" to "Is he seriously going to walk outside wearing that pink paisley blazer?" to "What does he even do for a living?", but that's just what makes him the most entertaining "character" on the show. And we need him, because, seriously, we could not handle an hour every week of Kris and Kim slowly but surely turning into the Grey Gardens ' version of "Big" Edith and "Little" Edie Beale. (It's going to happen, guys.)

In Sunday's most recent tale of "Scott Disick lives with the Kardashians," Scott showed a softer side to his often ice-cold heart when he tried to coax Kourtney into moving into their new home (yes, they have a new home). A pesky rodent made its way into their house, and it got Kourtney all flustered about moving. However, Scott realized that Kourtney was using the rat as an excuse for not wanting to make such a big change in her life, and he basically moved in by himself and slept on an air mattress to show her that there's nothing to be scared of. Aww, he knows her so well. Moments like those are when Scott's "Man of the house" side comes out and proves that he's not completely as self-involved as his "Lord" title makes him out to be.

Take a look at all of the other times Scott has shown that he knows how to take care of his home, family, and marriage:

1. He fixes things around the house.

No need to call a repairman when you've got Scott "The Notebook" Disick around.

2. He keeps the family in check (sometimes).

Who else is going to let them know when they're being even more ridiculous than he is?

3. He's outdoorsy.

Maybe his friendship with this frog means he's capable of surviving in the wilderness.

4. He puts effort into fixing his marriage.

He took Kourtney on a retreat to help them talk out some of their feelings.

5. He decorates the house.

Hey, if Kourtney can buy random things, then so can Scott.

6. He makes sure his family has the best of everything.

Because of course Scott would want to wipe his royal ass with money.

7. He's manly enough to not curse in front of his kids.

Well, that's adorable.

8. His kids mean everything to him.

Good one, Scott.

9. He knows when he has to put his foot down... which is always.

Not like his words mean anything when he's surrounded by a bunch of Kardashians.

Although, I think we all know who the real man of the house is...

You keep on doin' you, Mason.
